Roland "Tony" Carnaby, the one-time CIA station chief for the Southeast Region slain by Houston police on April 29, was an advocate of increasing "HUMINT" resources in and around the sprawling Houston port complex, from Houston to Galveston. Houston is the largest port in the United States for foreign tonnage.
Carnaby had in his possession the morning of April 29 information that someone wanted and wanted badly enough to order the Houston police to treat the well-known former CIA clandestine agent and president of the local chapter of the Association for Intelligence Officers (AFIO) as a dangerous armed criminal. After an extensive investigation, WMR has learned that those who ordered the "hit" on Carnaby were part of a team, including smugglers tied to the Russian-Israeli mob, who were involved in terrorist planning activities in the greater Houston area.
Carnaby and his intelligence and federal and county law enforcement associates were concerned about the potential for a "9/11-like" false flag attack on either Houston's port facility, airports, or all of them in and around the Memorial Day and Independence Day weekends.
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are still trying to figure out whether officers were justified in killing a man yesterday following a high speed chase.
Police pulled over Roland Carnaby, 52, for speeding. During that stop, he presented them with credentials claiming to work for the CIA. The officers at the scene couldn't verify those documents before Carnaby sped off. Several minutes later, Carnaby was shot near the West Loop.
Officers say they saw him reach for something shiny, which turned out to be a cell phone. Police eventually found two pistols and a shotgun in Carnaby's vehicle.
They're not sure why he was claiming to be a federal agent.
"He called me back and said there was no record of him being an employee of the FBI or CIA," said Houston Police Chief Harold Hurtt.
We've been told by the CIA Office of Public Affiars, "While we do not as a rule publicly deny or confirm employment, I will tell you in this case that Mr. Carnaby was not an employee of the Central Intelligence Agency. He was never a CIA officer."
The government will have to borrow nearly 50 cents for every dollar it spends this year, exploding the record federal deficit past $1.8 trillion under new White House estimates. Budget office figures released Monday would add $89 billion to the 2009 red ink — increasing it to more than four times last year's all-time high as the government hands out billions more than expected for people who have lost jobs and takes in less tax revenue from people and companies making less money.

Officials in Barack Obama's home state yesterday moved to remove a scandal-tainted governor, three days after he was accused of trying to sell the president-elect's old seat in the Senate.
Blagojevich has defied calls to step down from Obama and others since Tuesday when the FBI revealed it had wiretaps of the governor soliciting campaign contributions and cabinet posts in return for filling the Senate seat.

Blagojevich will not go down without a fight, and as a Chicago politician , knows (perhaps, literally) where the bodies are buried.
This tangle of corruption will, most probably, lead back to Obama in a disturbingly tangible way.
It will be interesting if he is able, like the Clintons were at the time of Vince Foster's "suicide", to somehow shake this off this scandal and walk away relatively unscathed.
But with the fact that many people are turning away from corporate media in droves, I would like to hope that will not be the case in this instance, if there is concrete evidence that Obama was part of this.

Unflipping believable. I thought, originally, that the headline was a joke, but this is absolutely not funny, and is in fact, terrifying in its consequences, should this bill become law.
The scheme works like this: The U.S. Congress votes to send between $3 Billion and $6 Billion free cash to Israel every year under the guise of "foreign aid." When the money arrives, the Israeli government takes several hundred million and puts it aside to be sent back to the USA through Jewish Political Action Committees, and donated to the political campaigns of the Congress members most friendly to Israel. By funding Israel, certain members of Congress actually guarantee they'll have enough campaign cash to get re-elected.
No one investigated it because there was never any way to PROVE what was being done. This morning that changed.

Obama's plan is a direct violation of the 13th Amendment prohibition against involuntary servitude, and now they want to make any organized effort to point that fact out a crime, thus violating the First Amendment!

Also, the concept of mandatory national service is a direct violation of the 13th amendment. More to the point, the services we are ordered to "volunteer" are the ones we were told our taxes were paying for. So where did the money go? First Steps Taken to Implement Preventive Detention, Military Commissions
From this interim report, it's more apparent than ever that the central excuse made by Obama defenders to justify preventive detention and military commissions -- there are dangerous Terrorists who cannot be released but also cannot be tried because Bush obtained the evidence against them via torture -- is an absolute myth. That's clear for multiple reasons:
First, the Task Force is formulating detention policy not only for detainees already at Guantanamo, but also for future, not-yet-abducted detainees as well.

And if you think for one hot second that this will only apply to "foreign terrorists", you need to think again. It won't be long before Americans who have disagreements with their government will be candidates for indefinite detention as well.

Once Nixon knew he was doomed, he dumped Spiro Agnew and brought Ford in the be Vice President. The reason was simple. Among the items sought after in the break-in of the Democratic National Headquarters were photos taken in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas on November 22nd, 1963 that showed three of the "tramps" clearly enough to identify two of them as E. Howard Hunt (the reason he led the break-in) and Frank Sturgis, both Nixon henchmen in 1963. (The photos eventually did resurface in an expose published by the Liberty Lobby. Hunt sued and lost when witnesses were found that placed him in DealeyPlaza at the time.)
Remember that Nixon was a shoe-in for re-election against McGovern because of all the dirty tricks done by Segretti and his ilk at CREEP. Nobody could understand why the break-in had happened at all. A full investigation of the motive for the Watergate break-in would have unraveled the cover-up of the JFK assassination, which is why Nixon resigned rather than allow a Senate trial.
Gerald Ford had been on the Warren Commission that covered up the conspiracy and put the blame for the killing of JFK on the lone gunman, Oswald. So, prior to resigning, Nixon tossed Agnew and brought in Ford knowing that Ford, likely to be as threatened by exposure of the cover-up as anyone else, would work to protect the secret and by extension, Nixon.
Yes, there was probably an explicit understanding that Ford would pardon Nixon as the price for being made VP, then President. But Ford's pardon protected Ford as much as Nixon.
