The hysteria over the Swiss Iran deal comes directly from Israel

US launches legal review of Swiss-Iran gas deal

Note the presumption of authority over Switzerland and Iran in this.

Iran 'behind Green Zone attack'

The most senior US general in Iraq has said he has evidence that Iran was behind Sunday's bombardment of Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone

"The rockets that were launched at the Green Zone yesterday, for example... were Iranian-provided, Iranian-made rockets," he said, adding that the groups that fired them were funded and trained by the Quds Force.

And General Petraeus can prove this.....how??

US deploys nuclear sub to Persian Gulf'

An American nuclear submarine has crossed the Suez Canal to join the US fleet stationed in the Persian Gulf, Egyptian sources say.

An American destroyer recently left the Persian Gulf, heading towards the Mediterranean Sea; earlier on Thursday, a US Navy rescue ship crossed the canal to enter the Red Sea.

US vessel 'shoots at Suez boat'

A US container ship approaching the Suez Canal has opened fire on a small Egyptian motorboat, killing one man and wounding two others, reports say.

Ever hear of "warning shots?"

US Navy confirms Suez Canal shooting

"The boats were hailed and warned by a native Arabic speaker using a bullhorn to warn them to turn away. A warning flare was then fired," said a statement from the U.S. embassy in Cairo. "One small boat continued to approach the ship and received two sets of warning shots 20-30 yards in front of the bow."

The statement added that "All shots were accounted for as they entered the water." It also said that "initial reports indicate that no casualties were sustained on either vessel."

An Egyptian security official at the canal, however, said that after the warning shots, a man was shot dead in the small boat and that the three other men with him were wounded.

Somebody is lying, and since the US Government does so much of it, I think it is them.

US admits to Suez canal killing

US officials have said an Egyptian was killed when a ship contracted to the US navy fired warning shots at approaching boats in the Suez Canal on Monday.

And only yesterday the US was insisting that nobody had been killed!

"We are living through another Hiroshima," Iraqi doctor says

The U.S., Great Britain and Israel are turning portions of the Middle East into a slice of radioactive hell. They are achieving this by firing what they call "depleted uranium" (DU) ammunition but which is, in fact, radioactive ammunition and it is perhaps the deadliest kind of tactical ammo ever devised in the warped mind of man.

Warning: horrifically graphic photo at the top of this article, showing a little boy sick fromdepleted uranium poisoning. But please don't turn away.

Remember: this is what is being done in this part of the world in your name, and with your tax dollars.

Dick Cheney's Error

When the vice president dismisses public opposition to war with a simple "So?" he violates the single most important element in the American system of government: Here, the people rule.

The people are SUPPOSED to rule. Clearly, Dick Cheney has revealed that they do not. This must be corrected.

Tar and feathers optional.

- Tibet

Beijing orchestrating Tibet riots

Britain's GCHQ, the government communications agency that electronically monitors half the world from space, has confirmed the claim by the Dalai Lama that agents of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the PLA, posing as monks, triggered the riots that have left hundreds of Tibetans dead or injured.

The photo alone blows the lid off of the Chinese swindle.

Paramilitaries open fire on hundreds of monks and nuns at Tibet rally

Paramilitary police opened fire on hundreds of monks, nuns and Tibetans who tried to march on a local government office in western China yesterday to demand the return of the Dalai Lama.

Tibetan exiles say 135 killed, 500 hurt in protests

China will kill as many Tibetans as necessary until the protests stop.

For them, a successfully defiant Tibet will lead to other successfully defiant border entities which China has absorbed geographically and militarily.

For the Chinese, this is completely untenable.

If the protests continue, look for many more deaths, injuries, and imprisonments of protesters.

Weather Channel Founder Wants To Sue Al Gore For Global Warming Fraud

A landmark court case that would destroy the so-called "consensus" behind man-made global warming could be in the works after Weather Channel founder John Coleman expressed his intention to sue Al Gore for fraud.

Companies that sell "carbon credits" on the basis that they offset carbon emissions could also be in the firing line as Coleman stated his conviction that man-made advocates would lose the case if a fair debate, something that the establishment is loathe to allow, was allowed to take place.

Coleman is correct here. The man-made global warming claim is a total scam, to literally create the "product" of carbon-credits out of thin air, in order to grow rich by trading these legal fictions like a commodity.

Scientists blame global warming for Antarctica ice shelf collapse

This is a classic case of policy-driven science. Despite the data showing that the Earth is not getting warmer , the scientists whose funding depends on global warming claim that everything that happens is a direct result of whatever they are out to prove.

But consider what is actually happening. At both the north and south poles, the cold causes water to precipitate out of the air and form ice. Ice on land forms glaciers. Gravity drags glaciers down the slopes and where they are on shorelines, the glaciers spread out onto the ocean surface forming shelves. These shelves do NOT last forever. That is why sailors throughout history have had to deal with icebergs.

As for this specific ice shelf, it did not melt, it broke, and like other Antarctica ice shelves, will melt once it drifts into warmer water. We do not know is such breakage is a new phenomenon because prior to satellites, scientists had no way to know that the huge mass of ice in front of their research ship wasn't part of the coastline. But simply logic tells you that these constantly forming ice shelves have to also constantly break off and melt, or the whole ocean would be covered in ice by now!

Finally, in the southern hemisphere, summer is just ending, and ice is SUPPOSED to melt during the summer. And every few hours, the tides lift the ice shelves up and down, up and down, up and down, and this forms cracks. When the cracks all meet, something comes loose. WE have the same mechanism here in Hawaii where lava pours down the volcano into the ocean, where it hardens and forms lava shelves which are unsupported from underneath. As the cool and crack, aided by the pounding of the surf, these lava benches occasionally break off. The really huge ones can cause minor tsunamis when they go. But nobody blames the collapse of these shelves on global warming! - M. R.

Massive volcano beneath Antarctic ice

A powerful volcano erupted under the icesheet of Antarctica around 2,000 years ago and it might still be active today, a finding which raises questions about ice loss from the white continent.

Another little tidbit the "cult" neglected to mention in their rush to blame the ice shelf on global warming. - M. R.

Afghan Extension

MPs vote to lengthen mission to 2011

Afghanistan comes full circle as NATO seeks Russian help

Now into the seventh year of their occupation and with the American economy on the point of collapse, NATO is looking to Russia for help in transporting troops and equipment into Afghanistan. With the skyrocketing oil prices boosting the Russian ruble to dizzy new heights and no one asking for their troops to fight and die in Afghanistan, it would seem that the wheel of fate has turned a full circle.

If you want to drive this point home, go out and rent an old copy of Rambo III. That's the sequel wherein Sylvester Stallone fights alongside the guerrillas, and the final credits dedicate the movie to "the brave mujahedeen in Afghanistan."

I kid you not.

US missile defense is against Russia, China, not Iran, Gorbachev says

(AP) The Russians and the Chinese are no fools, and understand absolutely at whom these alleged "missile defense systems" in Eastern Europe will be aimed.

US gave $300m arms contract to 22-year-old with criminal record

The Pentagon entrusted a 22-year-old previously arrested for domestic violence and having a forged driving licence to be the main supplier of ammunition to Afghan forces at the height of the battle against the Taliban, it was reported yesterday.

...

AEY also supplied weapons to US agencies, and rifles to Iraqi forces.

Okay, this deal needs a full investigation. How did this kid, with criminal record and fake driver’s license, wind up with the contracts to supply arms to the Army, the Iraqis, and Us Government agencies like DEA and FBI?

Efraim Diversoli... why not state that he is a Jew?

If he was a Muslim, you would not find one mainstream report that neglected to shove that fact down your throat. Is this self-censorship in the press? And do I have to troll the blogs to find the kind of info about Government-funded Jewish crime paid for by our tax dollars???

Botach Tactical and AEY Inc., family arms dealerships

Efraim's dad, Michael Diveroli, told the media that he had nothing to do with his son's arms trading.

"I would prefer he became a nice Jewish doctor or lawyer rather than an arms dealer. He's never asked for my approval on the company. He doesn't always take my advice, I don't influence him. As a father of a boy genius he's hard to control," Michael Diveroli told WFOR-TV.

That's hard to believe. Fedvendor.com lists Michael Diveroli as AEY's sales manager and its government business contact. The elder Diveroli incorporated AEY in 1999 and installed his son as president in 2005. Michael Diveroli also has two businesses of his own that get government contracts for police equipment and office supplies.

McCain Says It's "Common Knowledge" That Iran Is Training Al Qaeda

"Ana raicha Al Qaeda" is colloquial for "I'm going to the toilet". A very common and widespread use of the word "Al-Qaeda" in different Arab countries in the public language is for the toilet bowl. This name comes from the Arabic verb "Qa'ada" which mean "to sit", pertinently, on the "Toilet Bowl". In most Arabs homes there are two kinds of toilets: "Al-Qaeda" also called the "Hamam Franji" or foreign toilet, and "Hamam Arabi" or "Arab toilet" which is a hole in the ground. Lest we forget it, the potty used by small children is called "Ma Qa'adia" or "Little Qaeda".

So, if you were forming a terrorist group, would you call yourself, "The Toilet"?

Or is "Al Qaeda" a hoax created by some numb nuts at CIA Langley, who didn't know Arabic as well as he thought he did?

McCain backs Jerusalem as 'Israeli capital'

Worried Yet? Saudis Prepare for "Sudden Nuclear Hazards" After Cheney Visit

Last Friday, Dick Cheney was in Saudi Arabia for high-level meetings with the Saudi king and his ministers. On Saturday, it was revealed that the Saudi Shura Council -- the elite group that implements the decisions of the autocratic inner circle -- is preparing "national plans to deal with any sudden nuclear and radioactive hazards that may affect the kingdom following experts' warnings of possible attacks on Iran's Bushehr nuclear reactors," one of the kingdom's leading newspapers, Okaz, reports. The German-based dpa news service relayed the paper's story.

Simple prudence -- or ominous timing?

Israel plans drills in face of nuke threat

Israeli officials announced Monday plans to conduct the largest emergency drills in its history as part of lessons learned from the 2006 war with Lebanon.

Parts of Israel will effectively shut down starting April 6.

Israel is worried it may nuke itself? Because Israel is th only nation in the Middle East that actually HAS nuclear weapons. On the other hand, that April 6th date does coincide with the latest reports of escalating military action against Iran.

Crossfire War - Saudi Arabia Preparing for Nuclear War

It seems Washington used the recent visit to West Asia (Middle East) by Vice-President Dick Cheney to alert the House of Saud the U. S. has completed preparations for a missile-air attack on Iran's nuclear facilities in April. PressTV reports the Saudi paper Okaz mentioned a meeting of the Saudi Shura Council after the Vice-President's visit in which the council approved preparations to counter "radioactive fallout" due to a U. S. attack on Iran. There has also been a recent deployment of a U. S. nuclear submarine in the Persian Gulf. That is why I suspect the real reason for the current three day visit by U. S. Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice to Israel is not to discuss the removal of road blocks in the West Bank but to alert Jerusalem.

Iraqi police in Basra shed their uniforms, kept their rifles and switched sides

Abu Iman barely flinched when the Iraqi Government ordered his unit of special police to move against al-Mahdi Army fighters in Basra.

His response, while swift, was not what British and US military trainers who have spent the past five years schooling the Iraqi security forces would have hoped for. He and 15 of his comrades took off their uniforms, kept their government-issued rifles and went over to the other side without a second thought.

That huge wooshing sound you hear, in the midst of this situation, is that of US taxpayer dollars having been flushed unceremoniously down the toilet of funding for the training of every Iraqi security force member who has defected - and will defect - from the Iraqi Army.

The fact that the US and the Brits absolutely never saw this coming is a clear demonstration of a complete, contemptuous ignorance about the history of these people, not to mention any understanding of the seething anger Iraqis feel about what has been done to their country, and their countrymen.

Al-Sadr offers to pull fighters off Iraq's streets

Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr offered Sunday to pull his fighters off the streets of Basra and other cities if the government halts raids against his followers and releases prisoners held without charge.

We'll see just what the Al-Maliki government does with this offer. Maliki will consider it, but the US will say no.

Shiite Militias Cling to Swaths of Basra and Stage Raids

Iraq Violence Continues As Death Toll Nears 300

Fighting sparked by a government-led push against "outlaw" militias in the southern city of Basra had left more than 280 people dead by Saturday, according to Iraqi authorities.

Unless Al-Maliki's government accepts Al-Sadr's terms, this revolt against the occupation and its puppet government could convulse all of Iraq, and neither the Iraqis (whose soldiers are defecting to the Mahdi Army in record numbers) nor the US Forces have anywhere near enough boots on the ground to contain it.

Shiite militiamen in Basra openly controlled wide swaths of the city on Saturday and staged increasingly bold raids on Iraqi government forces sent five days ago to wrest control from the gunmen, witnesses said, as Iraqi political leaders grew increasingly critical of the stalled assault.

Witnesses in Basra said members of the most powerful militia in the city, the Mahdi Army, were setting up checkpoints and controlling traffic in many places ringing the central district controlled by some of the 30,000 Iraqi Army and police forces involved in the assault. Fighters were regularly attacking the government forces, then quickly retreating.

Translation: it is clear that the Al-Maliki government could very possibly very close to losing Basra completely.

Iranian who brokered Iraqi peace is on U.S. terrorist watch list

You can almost smell the irony here.

WASHINGTON — The Iranian general who helped broker an end to nearly a week of fighting between Iraqi government forces and Shiite Muslim militiamen in southern Iraq is an unlikely peacemaker.

Brig. Gen. Qassem Suleimani, who helped U.S.-backed Iraqi leaders negotiate a deal with radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al Sadr to stop the fighting in Iraq's largely Shiite south, is named on U.S. Treasury Department and U.N. Security Council watch lists for alleged involvement in terrorism and the proliferation of nuclear and missile technology.

Some homes worth less than their copper pipes

Thieves smashed the window to break in and then gutted the property for its copper pipes -- a crime that has spread across the United States as the economy slows and foreclosed homes stand empty and vulnerable.

Copper thievery has become a major problem even here in Hawaii. Power lines along the leeward side of Oahu have been ripped right off the poles, leaving entire neighborhoods blacked out. There is an old Loran-C station near Kaneohe, turned over to the state in the wake of GPS systems coming on line, which is used as a "techie" location set for TV shows and movies filmed here in Hawaii. It contains come amazing artifacts from its days as a transmitter station including 30 foot tall coil forms made of teakwood. alas, the solid copper wire that used to wind around those coils is long gone. But it must have been amazing to see when it was still operating.

Carlyle Group May Buy Major CIA Contractor: Booz Allen Hamilton

The Carlyle Group, one of the world's largest private equity funds, may soon acquire the $2 billion government contracting business of consulting giant Booz Allen Hamilton, one of the biggest suppliers of technology and personnel to the U.S. government's spy agencies. Carlyle manages more than $75 billion in assets and has bought and sold a long string of military contractors since the early 1990s. But in recent years it has significantly reduced its investments in that industry. If it goes ahead with the widely reported plan to buy Booz Allen, it will re-emerge as the owner of one of America's largest private intelligence armies.

Bread, milk, egg prices spike, draining locals' wallets

Rising fuel, wheat and soybean oil prices have caused the cost of food production to spike, and product prices are expected to jump another 3 percent in 2008 after they rose nearly 5 percent in 2007, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture data. People are also paying 57 cents more for a pound of coffee and $1 more for a carton of large, grade A eggs than they did at this time last year, data show, although the increase in the price of eggs is expected to dwindle by at least 2 percent in 2008.

That is the whole point; to drain the wallets of the common people.

The big lie of capitalism is that everyone can be rich. This is just not so. Capitalism requires an imposed wealth differential to function. Only a few people can be allowed to be rich. The vast majority of people must be kept poor in order to keep them working at the thousands of distasteful jobs society required to operate. If everyone were a millionaire, who would take out the trash, fix the sewers, pick the crops, or bury the dead? Choosing who is allowed to be rich and who is not is what politics is for.

There is a second reason governments wish to keep their people poor. It keeps them helpless. Throughout the modern age, all revolutions have come from the middle class, which has the resources to mount a revolution and the time necessary to plan and conduct one. Even here in the United States, the push for Independence was carried out by the middle class. Paul Revere was a silversmith, Ben Franklin a publisher and inventor, John Hancock an insurance salesman, Thomas Jefferson a lawyer, Josiah Bartlett a doctor, and so on and so on. As the lies told by the government become known to the general public and distrust of the government continues to spread, the government out of a desire for its own survival and perpetuation sees impoverishment of the people as key to survival.

Food crisis being felt around world

A surge in demand for biofuel has resulted in a sharp decline in agricultural land planted for food crops. About 16% of U.S. agricultural land formerly planted with soybeans and wheat is now growing corn for biofuel.

This is a classic case of how policy-driven science often does not consider the long-term effects of their pet theories.

It all sounded so simple when the "cult" claimed that we could grow our automobile fuel; that it would be "carbon neutral" (it isn't), efficient (it isn't). and cost competitive (it isn't). And warnings were sounded early on that there was only so much farm land on Earth, and that each acre used to grow biofuel was one acre less growing food. But we all grew up watching those propaganda films that touted American agricultural surpluses. Hey, we even sold grain to the USSR! But nobody made movies about how farm lands were taken over by growing populations, and that prior to the biofuel craze, farm land food production was evenly matched with demand.

Then the biofuel craze hit. Tax incentives were put in to encourage farmers to grow crops for biofuels, which means they were paid by our government to STOP growing food for us. and, in yet another reason globalism is not such a great idea, food shortages in one area quickly become foot shortages everywhere, especially as the fuel required to ship food half way across the globe goes up in price.

The present food crisis is a direct result of the meddling by the global warming cult, who have a bad habit of pushing for taxes and control over our lives based on less than conclusive facts and poorly considered ideas.

Analyst Predicts Corn Rationing in 2008

Analyst Heather L. Jones said in a note to investors if the USDA estimate proves accurate, the year may produce just 200 million bushels of corn. That, she said, wouldn't be enough to meet demand, given current export and feed demand trends and higher ethanol demand. Both ethanol and animal feed are made with corn.

Pharmaceuticals found in drinking water of 24 major metro areas

At least one pharmaceutical was detected in tests of treated drinking water supplies for 24 major metropolitan areas, according to an Associated Press survey of 62 major water providers and data obtained from independent researchers.

Modern American medicine is about selling chemicals, drugs, sometimes in over abundance. The reality is that chemicals your body does not fully metabolize go into the sewage system, where water-reclamation fails to filter them out. Together with effluent runoff from the manufacturing plants, you can wind up with medical materials in your drinking water.

Now, while such chemicals are obviously very dilute, long term chronic exposure to them can have an effect, especially those drugs being prescribed to a significant portion of the general population.

New Study Further Links Parkinson's Disease and Pesticides

In another cautionary tale about the potential danger of toxic pesticides, scientists have published a new study on further evidence of a possible link between Parkinson's disease and long-term chemical exposure. As the UK's Guardian reports, a study of more than 300 people with the neurological disease found that sufferers were more than twice as likely to report heavy exposure to pesticides over their lifetime as family members without the disease.

Death of the Bees: GMO Crops and the Decline of Bee Colonies in North America

The genetic modification of the plant leads to the concurrent genetic modification of the flower pollen. When the flower pollen becomes genetically modified or sterile, the bees will potentially go malnourished and die of illness due to the lack of nutrients and the interruption of the digestive capacity of what they feed on through the summer and over the winter hibernation process.

Global Research, March 25, 2008

‘Commercial beehives pollinate over a third of [North}America’s crops and that web of nourishment encompasses everything from fruits like peaches, apples, cherries, strawberries and more, to nuts like California almonds, 90 percent of which are helped along by the honeybees. Without this pollination, you could kiss those crops goodbye, to say nothing of the honey bees produce or the flowers they also fertilize’.1

Bee plague worsening, anxious keepers say

Among the possible culprits are varroa mites, which kill bees and transmit viruses.

Pesticides and insecticides, as well as the chemicals used to control the varroa mites, are being scrutinized to see if they are causing the problem. Migratory stress from being moved long distances also plays a role, Hackett said.

Note the potential cause left off the list; genetically modified crops.

Organically raised bees, that is to say bees known not to feed on GM plants, are not affected by Colony Collapse Disorder.

The prevailing theory is that a gene spliced into plants to cause it to make its own insecticide migrates into the digestive bacteria inside the bee, turning their entire digestive system into an insecticide factory.

FLASHBACK: GM pollen 'can kill butterflies'

Pollen from one of the most successful genetically modified (GM) crops in the US can kill the larvae of monarch butterflies, scientists say.

Their study, published in the journal Nature, shows how the new GM technology might have unwanted consequences for biodiversity.

So, it was known back in 1999 that pollen from genetically modified plants harms insects, and yet this obvious link is ignored in the mainstream media reports on the dying bees.

S.D. beekeepers concerned as die-off continues

"I would say overall the losses of South Dakota bees -- from what I've heard -- from what they started in the spring of '07 until they came out of the almonds is at least 50%. It's not good."

A reader sent in the following image.

Reader: Just took this picture of a tree in front of my house. If you look closely, next to my very primitive arrow, you'll see a bee. There actually are many bees, difficult to see, humming and buzzing very actively. Well, no GMO's here. Will be interesting, and actually quite catastrophic, if the bee extinction is due to GMOs. Ah, what havoc we humans wreak!

Bats Perish, and No One Knows Why

All would be dead by nightfall. Mr. Hicks, a mammal specialist with the state's Environmental Conservation Department, said: "Bats don't fly in the daytime, and bats don't fly in the winter. Every bat you see out here is a 'dead bat flying,' so to speak."

In January 2007, a cave explorer reported an unusual number of bats flying near the entrance of a cavern near Albany. In March and April, thousands of dead bats were found in three other mines and caves. In one case, half the dead or living bats had the fungus.

One cave had 15,584 bats in 2005, 6,735 in 2007 and an estimated 1,500 this winter. Another went from 1,329 bats in 2006 to 38 this winter. Some biologists fear that 250,000 bats could die this year.

Since September, when hibernation began, dead or dying bats have been found at 15 sites in New York.

That the US State Department is trying to sell this lemon to the American people only illustrates how totally under the thumb of Israel the US Government has become.

Pentagon: $520 Million for Space Weapons Research

We all know that the Pentagon has more space weapons technology in mind than just a single, satellite-shooting missile. But trying to pin down how much the Defense Department is spending on space combat research -- and on what projects -- is an absolute bitch. The programs are spread across at least a dozen different accounts; much of the technology involved is "dual use" -- meaning, it could help with another military matters, too; and that's before you get into the Defense Department's "black," classified budget.
