The fundamental Sky-Sun Gods of ancient Egypt were Osiris, Horus and Ra. Because of a very large span of time these and other gods flourished in Egypt, there is a considerable degree of overlap & permutation regarding their attributes and stories. Zeitgeist simply encapsulates the general characteristics of these ancient Egyptian gods under the title of Horus. The point of Zeitgeist is to show some of the similarities between Jewish-Greco-Roman Christianity and other ancient religions. Zeitgeist isn’t meant to be an all-inclusive detailed study of ancient religious mythology.
