In total, the Times has lost 765,000 unique users in the three months since it went behind the paywall, a 34.5 per cent decrease in monthly unique visitors and a 70 per cent decrease in total page views. It is important to note that visitors to the site is not an indication of paying subscribers as a user will be logged by comScore even if they hit the paywall login page and immediately ‘bounce’ away from the website. At present News International have still not released official figures on the number of subscribers to The Times website or its iPad application.
Perhaps more surprising is the dip in unique users reading The Sun products online which lost 169,000 users in the past month alone.
"Is everything a conspiracy? No, just the important stuff." -- Jeff Wells, Rigorous Intuition

Pandemics, Aliens, and Asteroids -- Oh My! It appears that the corporate-government-media has recently become the number one propagator of conspiracy theories. That is, of course, as long as the fear campaign pushes the right buttons for the agenda.
Violent crime declined 5.3 percent last year, the third straight annual fall, the FBI reported [on September 13]. The drop was accompanied by a 4.6 percent drop in property crime, marking the seventh consecutive year that nonviolent crime has dropped. The figures challenge theories among some criminal analysts that crime tends to rise in times of uncertain economies. In the 1970s and early 1980s, when the economy went south, crime rates went up. Inflation was high then, which could account for the different reaction. James Alan Fox, a criminologist at Northeastern University, said that although the downward trend is encouraging, the economy “could come back to haunt us’’ because of a nearly 10 percent drop per capita in police budgets in the past few years. “There is a connection between the economy and crime rates, but it’s not that when the economy is bad, people go out and commit crime,’’ said Fox. “When the economy is bad,’’ he said, “there are budget cuts. Less is spent on youth crime prevention and crime control on the street.’’
Note: Robbery and violent crime rates have dropped over 50% since 1994. Take a look at the graphs on the US Department of Justice website available here. Why isn't this highly inspiring news given top headlines?
The results are stark, and prove decisively that not all terrorists are Muslims. In fact, a whopping 99.6% of terrorist attacks in Europe were by non-Muslim groups; a good 84.8% of attacks were from separatist groups completely unrelated to Islam. Leftist groups accounted for over sixteen times as much terrorism as radical Islamic groups. Only a measly 0.4% of terrorist attacks from 2007 to 2009 could be attributed to extremist Muslims.
The number of chronically hungry people in the world dipped considerably below the 1 billion mark - the first drop in 15 years - thanks partly to a fall in food prices after spikes that sparked rioting a few years ago, U.N. agencies said [on September 14]. Still, an estimated 925 million people are undernourished worldwide, and the latest figures don't reflect the repercussions from the massive flooding in Pakistan. The Rome-based Food and Agriculture Organization's report suggested some progress in the battle to end hunger, but stressed the world is far from achieving the U.N. promoted Millennium Development Goal of halving the proportion of undernourished people from 20 percent in 1990-92 to 10 percent in 2015. The report estimated there are 98 million fewer chronically hungry people than in 2009, when the figure just topped 1 billion. The drop in the chronically hungry is partly because ... cereal and rice harvests have been strong. Cereal production this year was the third-highest ever recorded, despite a drought-fueled wheat shortfall in Russia, said FAO director-general Jacques Diouf. Also heartening, Diouf noted, is that cereal stocks are high - some 100 million tons more than the low levels of 2007-2008, when some 38 countries shut down their food export markets in reaction.
With female enrollments growing at all levels of higher education, doctoral degrees have been one area where men have continued to dominate. No more. New data being released today show that in 2008-09, for the first time, women earned a majority of the doctoral degrees awarded in the USA. The data are part of an analysis of graduate enrollments and degrees from the Council of Graduate Schools. The majority for women in doctoral degrees is slight, 50.4%. But the shift has been steady and significant. As recently as 2000, women were earning only 44% of doctoral degrees. In master's degrees, where women have already accounted for a majority of degrees, their share now stands at 60%. Nathan Bell, director of research and policy analysis for the Council of Graduate Schools, said that the female majority for doctoral recipients was "a natural progression of what we have been seeing" in the rest of higher education. Given that female enrollments have overtaken male enrollments in associate, bachelor's and master's programs, he said, "the pipeline is increasingly female." In fact, he said that the only reason that women did not become a majority of doctoral recipients earlier is that a greater share of doctoral degrees are awarded in fields like engineering that remain disproportionately male than is the case at the undergraduate level.
Since late last month, the world supply of Viagra ads and other email spam has dropped by an estimated one-fifth. You may not have noticed - with 200 billion spam messages in circulation each day, there is still plenty to go around.
Yesterday, police officials in Russia here announced a criminal investigation of a suspected spam kingpin, Igor Gusev. They said he had probably fled the country.
The Moscow police said Gusev, 31, was a central figure in the operations of SpamIt.com, which paid spammers to promote online pharmacies, sometimes quite lewdly. SpamIt.com suddenly stopped operating on Sept 27. With less financial incentive to send their junk mail, spammers curtailed their activity by an estimated 50 billion messages a day.
China rolled out its fastest train yet on Tuesday and announced that the Three Gorges Dam, the world's biggest hydroelectric project, is now generating electricity at maximum capacity -- engineering triumphs that signal the nation's growing ambitions as its economy booms.
Webmaster's Commentary:
Note that the US, whose state and Federal officials have talked about this technology for years, have yet to establish a bullet train system in this country.
In fact, in the US, infrastructure is crumbling, and there are utterly no funds for necessary repairs and retrofits of roads, bridges, and dams.
There is a lot more water on the moon than previously believed, according to an analysis of NASA data being published Friday, a finding that may bolster the case for a manned base on the lunar surface.
The discovery grew out of an audacious experiment last year, when the National Aeronautics and Space Administration slammed a spent-fuel rocket into a lunar crater at 5,600 miles an hour, and then used a pair of orbiting satellites to analyze the debris thrown off by the impact. They discovered that the crater contained water in the form of ice, plus a host of other resources, including hydrogen, ammonia, methane, mercury, sodium and silver.

The Lebanese daily as-Safir reported on Monday that Israel invaded Alfa mobile phone operator over a period of 32 days during the July 2006 war, few hours before Telecommunications Minister Charbel Nahhas had said that Israel infiltrated the telecommunications sector and managed to alter and manipulate its data.

ARLINGTON: The United States and a dozen other countries are staging a huge cyber exercise to test the preparedness of their computer networks against a simulated attack, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has announced.
You could be friends with government agents on Facebook, and not even know it. The Electronic Frontier Foundation has obtained documents that show two ways the government has been tracking people online to investigate citizenship petitions. Jennifer Lynch Staff Attorney for Electronic Frontier Foundation discusses the ethical issues involved if the government is creating fake profiles. She also says that the government memo opens the door to many questions.
A privacy watchdog has uncovered a government memo that encourages federal agents to befriend people on a variety of social networks, to take advantage of their readiness to share -- and to spy on them. In response to a Freedom of Information request, the government released a handful of documents, including a May 2008 memo detailing how social-networking sites are exploited by the Office of Fraud Detection and National Security (FDNS).
This is just another propaganda trick to discourage people from communicating with each other; to trick Americans back into psychological dependency on ABCNNBBCBS. But with 300 million angry Americans, it's not like there are enough Federal Agents to spy on us all. 99% of what gets posted to Facebook are clipping from other sources. There is simply too much information out there to correlate.
You think the Feds don't already know we are angry? You think the government is not aware there is open talk of revolution across the land? You think Obama hasn't heard that the people want him charged with high treason for allowing Israel to attack Americans in international waters? You think Congress thinks they got away with holding the Middle Class down while Wall Street gang-banged us all into poverty?
They know it. They know that the interval between now and the guillotines grows shorter every day. All they want to do is hold off the final collapse as long as possible while they loot the nation and skedaddle for the borders! So they play this Booga Booga trick to keep people from sharing their growing rage with each other.
Not gonna work.
Not a chance in Hell.
So to all those government goons reading these words right now; cut your losses. Take what you already looted and leave now while you can. Because you and I both know your bosses will offer you up as a sacrificial lamb in a heartbeat to save their own sorry asses when the final bug-out happens.

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration has adopted new procedures for using the Defense Department’s vast array of cyberwarfare capabilities in case of an attack on vital computer networks inside the United States, delicately navigating historic rules that restrict military action on American soil.
The air marshals, whose identities are being concealed, told 7NEWS that they're required to submit at least one report a month. If they don't, there's no raise, no bonus, no awards and no special assignments.
Webmaster's Commentary:
What this means is that the list is useless. More than that it means that millions of taxpayer dollars are being spent to watch the people on the watch list who really should not be there at all. The watch list is not an effective anti-terror tool; it is a political device.
DHS is currently tracking and discriminating against thousands of activists. Foreign companies have actually been hired to spy on Americans throughout Pennsylvania. Janet Napolitano is attempting to push a hundred different nations into a non binding agreement to install body scanners in their airports. As more and more of our civil liberties are tramped upon, what is left of our nation will become a total police state.
It is only going to get worse. Starting November 1st, new rules will be put in place by TSA under operation “Secure Flight.”
At this point he and another agent explained the TSA’s latest decree, saying I would not be permitted to pass without showing them my naked body, and how my refusal to do so had now given them cause to put their hands on me as I evidently posed a threat to air transportation security (this, of course, is my nutshell synopsis of the exchange). I asked whether they did in fact suspect I was concealing something after I had passed through the metal detector, or whether they believed that I had made any threats or given other indications of malicious designs to warrant treating me, a law-abiding fellow citizen, so rudely. None of that was relevant, I was told. They were just doing their job.
by Mike Adams (NaturalNews) I encountered my first airport naked body scanner while flying out of California today, and of course I decided to "opt out" of the scan. You do this by telling the blue-shirted TSA agents that you simply wish to opt out of the body scanner. Here's what happened after that:
A TSA agent told me to step to the side and stay put. He then proceeded to shout out loudly enough for all the other travelers and TSA agents to hear, "OPT OUT! OPT OUT!" This is no doubt designed to attract attention (or perhaps humiliation) to those who choose to opt out of the naked body scanner. I saw no purpose for this verbal alert because the same TSA agent who was yelling this ultimately was the one who patted me down anyway.
British airline bosses have today demanded an easing of 'completely redundant' airport checks for passengers including removing shoes and checking laptops separately.
British Airways chairman Martin Broughton said the UK should stop bowing to US demands for increased security.

Well, I guess we can expect "Al Qaeda" (nudge nudge wink wink) to do something nasty at a British airport just to teach those limeys a lesson, eh? Meanwhile, check out the letter by "watttyler, EUSSR"!
Arato, of Ewing, New Jersey, is charged with one count of accepting bribes, one count of conspiring to commit theft and three counts of theft by a government employee. He was brought into court handcuffed and with shackles on his feet.
Federal authorities do not concern themselves about the flood of illegal immigrants and drugs crossing the border every day, they’re more worried about radiating American truck drivers at internal checkpoints with mobile scanners that shoot dangerous x-rays through both vehicles and passengers.
As we reported last month, the federal government has acquired hundreds of backscatter x-ray scanners mounted in vans that they are now using to randomly scan vehicles, passengers and homes in complete violation of the 4th amendment and with wanton disregard for any health consequences.
“Writing letters to Washington doesn’t do any good. There’s too much money in airport ‘security.’
...But. Then I told her about this one letter I’d seen on LewRockwell.com, not written to the government but to the the Walt Disney company. It asked, politely, please tell me how I can take my children to Walt Disney World when I can’t possibly put them through porno-scanners or allow strangers to grope their crotches. In other words, this is your problem. It’s going to hit your bottom line. It’s for the children. Solve it.
The raids carried out by the FBI against antiwar activists last week are an ominous warning to the entire working class. The police-state tactics show the extent to which basic democratic rights—including the right to free speech and political association—have been dismantled in the US.
The Obama administration ordered the invasion of the homes of several individuals—primarily members of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization—and the seizure of documents, computers, cell phones, cameras and other personal and political material. Those targeted have been summoned to appear before a grand jury on October 12 and may face criminal prosecution for “material support” for terrorism.
Webmaster's Commentary:
The Jewish Defense League or JDL is designated a terror group ever since Irv Rubin plotted to blow up a US Congressman and a Mosque. But I don;pt see JDLs financial backers being raided or hauled before grand juries!
More and more shocking information is coming out about Shahed Hussain, the FBI informant at the heart of the prosecution's case. On the stand in federal court Thursday, he admitted attending a terrorist training camp in Pakistan and traveling to London, all while on the FBI payroll.
"Oh he's good, he's a shyster, so I can see why they use him. This case should be called 'who could lie the most,'" said one of the defendants' aunts, Alicia McWilliams-McCollum.
Hussain, working as an undercover informant, supplied James Cromitie, David Williams, Onta Williams and Laguerre Payen with fake explosives and recorded their conversations. The men from Newburgh are on trial for allegedly trying to blow up synagogues in the Bronx and shoot down military planes in Orange County.
The confidential informant at the center of the case against four men accused of plotting to bomb New York City synagogues testified that the Federal Bureau of Investigation sent him to Pakistan in 2008 to attend a terrorist training camp.
One of the more disturbing election incidents took place in Alaska on Sunday night, when private “guards” working for GOP Senate nominee Joe Miller forcibly detained and handcuffed a journalist as he tried to ask the candidate questions which he did not want to answer. This photograph shows the journalist, Alaska Dispatch’s Tony Hopfinger, handcuffed in a chair, surrounded by Miller’s guards.
School children in Santa Fe, New Mexico are being compelled to participate in a “Smart Badge” program. These are RFID chips embedded in an ID badge that the kids are required to have with them at all times. With these tags, the children can be (and are) followed and monitored by administrators of the government school system.
The program is getting mixed reviews, according to an article at KVUE. Some parents love it. After all, this is being done in the name of the children’s safety. Who doesn’t want kids to be safe, right?
A newborn baby was ripped from its mother’s arms by officials from the New Hampshire Division of Family Child Services accompanied by police after authorities cited the parents’ association with the Oath Keepers organization as one of the primary reasons for the snatch, heralding a shocking new level of persecution where Americans’ political beliefs are now being used by the state to kidnap children.
Below: Excerpts of State of New Hampshire documents concerning the case. Note: full documents withheld to ensure family privacy.
Note: the following is from a separate document and not part of the above document.
The affidavit in support of the decision to take the child, which has been verified by Oath Keepers, states, “The Division became aware and confirmed that Mr. Irish associated with a militia known as the Oath Keepers,” confirming that political beliefs were, amongst other reasons, one of the primary factors behind the snatching of the baby.
Even if the additional reasons cited in the affidavit, which are unproven at this time, could be considered sufficient reason for the state to take the baby, the fact that political affiliations were even mentioned is a frightening indictment of how far the government’s war on Americans who dissent against authority has advanced.
The parents were not even full members of the Oath Keepers organization, they were merely on a discussion list related to the group. This makes the case even more shocking – you don’t even have to be directly associated with a group that the government deems to be a “militia” to have your baby stolen – you merely have to be involved in online discussions of issues relating to the constitution and freedom in America.
Irish’s father’s web page clearly states that he supports a “NON-violent, law abiding gathering of like minded Patriots,” and that he is “AGAINST ANY acts of violence or illegal activity.”
“The Sons of Liberty Riders does not endorse or tolerate radical, extreme, violent or racial postings,” states the website.
Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving military, reserves, National Guard, veterans, Peace Officers, and Fire Fighters who will fulfill the Oath we swore, with the support of like minded citizens who take an Oath to stand with us, to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God. Our Oath is to the Constitution
"I'm constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud."
Webmaster's Commentary:
More reasons to conclude that Wikileaks is a very clever propaganda operation. Well.. maybe not all that clever.
Assange: "I'm constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud."
Julian Assange's comments regarding 9/11 stick out like a sore thumb given that this "whistleblowers' whistleblower" is now feted with the title of "the most dangerous man alive". The reality is that the CIA could nullify the threat posed by Assange and his operation any which way it wants. Assange dismissing 9/11 as a "false conspiracy" strongly suggests that that hasn't happened yet because he is useful to the PTB in the form of controlled opposition.
Britain's role in the alleged torture and unlawful killing of Iraqi civilians may be the subject of legal action following the publication of nearly 400,000 leaked military documents by the website WikiLeaks.
Webmaster's Commentary:
WikiLeaks document dump appears to have been a carefully prepared plan to stage a limited hangout as bait to sell US justification for the war with Iran. WikiLeaks provided documents about torture and beatings which was already known information, in essence, the "bait."
But recall that rat poison is 90% good food, and the ten percent that kills you is the real purpose behind the tasty food, and in the case of WikiLeaks, the poison inside the tasty bait are the claims that most Iraqis have been killed by other Iraqis and that Iran is the reason the US is unable to win the war. Both these claims serve the American propaganda cause and clearly there is ample reason to doubt them.
In the present case, however, Assange and the US Government may have hoisted with their own petard because the public is ignoring the intended message and focusing on the confirmation of the torture allegations. Much of the public still did not want to believe that the US Government was carrying our torture on a scale to rival the Nazis. This document dump, although containing information which was already known to those who were paying attention, has triggered a backlash of lawyers and even the United Nations, who now understand they must be seen to address these war crimes by the US and British Government.
The fact that the supposedly damaging leaks are in fact bolstering American accusations against Iran while minimizing American complicity in Iraqi deaths leads some to believe that the leaks are in fact engineered by the Pentagon to either discredit Wikileaks, or are in conjunction with Wikileaks which is a U.S. government outfit.
Sometimes a story is so troubling that it takes some time to digest, and the ruling delivered last Wednesday by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (PDF), in a lawsuit filed by the ACLU on behalf of five men subjected to "extraordinary rendition" and torture, is one such story.
Webmaster's Commentary:
So, it's official: torture and extraordinary rendition have now been enshrined as thoroughly legitimate in the eyes of American jurisprudence.
DHS has a long history of labeling legitimate activists as potential terrorists. What kind of country is America without freedom of speech?
Recently, gas drilling activists, angry about tap water that has the ability to be lit on fire, were targeted as potential terrorists. More and more government agencies are working for the interests of corporations rather than the people they are supposed to protect.
There are literally hundreds of examples of DHS labeling Americans as terrorists. Here are a few.
To top it off, the company that was hired, The Institute of Terrorism Research and Response is an Israeli company. That’s right, foreign companies are running surveillance on legitimate Americans.
Wayne Madsen reported today that Israel is actively recruiting university students to go to Israel and see how great their terrorism procedures are. Mossad Recruitment?
As the inspector general put it, the FBI's elaborate, "after-the-fact reconstruction" of the Pittsburgh events, designed to fabricate a counter-terrorism rationale for the rookie's surveillance mission, "was not corroborated by any witnesses or contemporaneous documents."
Until those living in this country can find a way to stop the government and the courts from committing and rationalizing torture and killings, and until we can turn popular feeling firmly towards supporting accountability for the grave abuses committed by the state, the admiral’s phrase should be applied to us: "They have no regard for human life."
On September 28, Judge Ellen Huvelle affirmed the D.C. District Court’s decision to dismiss Al-Zahrani v. Rumsfeld, a civil lawsuit brought by the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) and co-counsel concerning three men who died in detention at Guantánamo in June 2006. Her decision came despite new evidence from four soldiers stationed at the base, which strongly suggests the three men were murdered at a secret site at Guantánamo and that the government worked hard to cover up the true cause and circumstances of the deaths. The government reported the three men committed suicide by hanging themselves in their cells.
The court acknowledged that the allegations were "disturbing," but dismissed the case by citing national security considerations and possible "embarrassment" to the government. It also made the incredible assertion that even if every allegation of torture and homicide against U.S. officials is entirely true, the defendants’ conduct was within their permissible scope of employment. The court also said that only Congress can judge whether a mechanism for accountability should exist for the families of the deceased, and that the Military Commissions Act of 2006 still deprives the courts of jurisdiction over the treatment of any foreigners designated as "enemy combatants." In other words, after the government arbitrarily labels a foreign citizen as an "enemy combatant," it can torture or kill that individual, and then cover it up, without any legal accountability. If this weren’t callous enough, note that the court also held that "qualified immunity" protects government officials from accountability for the deaths because in 2006 it was not clear whether the Constitution applied in the island-prison of Guantánamo (where the U.S. is the only governing authority), and government officials could therefore not have known whether or not torture and killings violated the law.
The articles to follow, covering the rest of the prisoners still held, deal with those seized in particular locations: two cover prisoners seized in Afghanistan; two more tell the stories of prisoners seized crossing from Afghanistan to Pakistan in December 2001; two deal with prisoners seized in Pakistan; and the final article covers the “high-value detainees” transferred to Guantánamo from secret CIA prisons in September 2006, and other prisoners, seized in a variety of countries, who were subjected to “extraordinary rendition” and imprisonment in secret CIA prisons.
More senior staff including defence secretary Robert Gates, and senior advisor David Axelrod, leave their jobs
More senior White House staff are to leave in the next few months, adding to the high exit rate from President Barack Obama's administration.
Political analysts attribute the attrition rate to exhaustion, but Republican opponents blame disarray inside the White House, with an insular team responsible for too many policy failures.
Former White House correspondent Helen Thomas tells an Ohio radio interview that she knows she "hit the third rail" with remarks about Israel that led to her retirement.
Thomas tells WMRN-AM in Marion, Ohio, that "you cannot criticize Israel in this country and survive."
"The science is settled!" That's the slogan used by the pro-Global Warming crowd. but is it really? Below is a list of 800 papers by respected and awarded scientists that question or contradict the Man-Made Global Warming Theory (AGW). The science is NOT settled... This list was compiled by Andrew over at PopularTechnology.net. This is worth sifting through!
Supposedly, human activity is responsible for the detected rise in atmospheric CO2 levels over the past century. But do we really know were gas emissions come from and how great they are? As it turns out, greenhouse gas emissions are measured using statistical data without testing the results against the actual increases of these gases in the atmosphere.
Webmaster's Commentary:
So, the warmistas have never actually measured the atmosphere to see if it lines up with their statistical models?
Let's just take it as a given that plants are awesome in many practical and inherent ways and go from there: New research, led by scientists from the National Center for Atmospheric Research, shows that plants clean out air pollution to a much greater extent than previously thought. In fact, some types of trees actively consume certain types of air pollution.
Looking at oxygenated volatile organic compounds (oVOCs)--which are emitted from both manmade and non-manmade sources and can have serious effects on the health of the environment and humans--the team found that deciduous plants take up oVOCs as much as four times more rapidly than previously thought. The canopies of dense forest actually are responsible for 97% of observed uptake of oVOCs.
Especially interesting is that certain types of trees--they looked at poplars--actually markedly increase their uptake of these chemicals when the tree is wounded or otherwise stressed, with the tree's metabolic cycle increasing.
Globally Over One-Third More oVOCs Consumed by Plants At the global level, plants are taking up 36% more oVOCs than has been accounted for in previous studies. This means that fewer of these compounds are evolving into aerosols, which has large implications for air pollution and climate change as aerosols play a significant role (both increasing and decreasing warming) in global warming.
Webmaster's Commentary:
"No, no, no, no, NO, dammit! Trees and plants are not the solution. Trees and plants are bad. Really BAD! You need a carbon tax. You want a carbon tax. You WILL HAVE A GOD-DAMMED @!#$%ING CARBON TAX IF IT IS THE LAST THING I EVER DO! ... I'm okay. You can let go of me." -- Saint Al of the Gore
The first migrating Siberian swans have arrived three weeks early as Britain braces itself for a blast of Arctic weather.
The birds fly 2,500 miles from Russia each year to escape the freezing winds blowing behind them. According to folklore, their early arrival signals the start of a long, harsh winter.
Eight Bewick swans touched down in Britain late on Sunday night, marking the earliest arrival since 2003.
Given the unexpectedly cold nights Britain has been enduring over the last few days, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was January instead of October.
It will come as no surprise then that the wintry conditions made last night the coldest in October for 17 years in some regions.
Temperatures in West Freugh in south-west Scotland dipped to a bone-rattling -5.2C, falling below the previous record of -5.1C which was endured in October 1993.
Mount Fuji got its first snowcap of the season on Saturday, six days earlier than average, the Japan Times reported the Kofu Meteorological Observatory as saying.
Indeed, Matt Drudge mixes up the overall global inactivity with the North Atlantic basin alone. Regardless, the story is now the same for 4-years in a row: North Atlantic hurricane forecasts hopelessly overblown against a backdrop of plummeting global tropical cyclone activity overall.
Webmaster's Commentary:
A mainstay of the global warming cult is that human caused global warming would lead to more severe hurricanes and other destructive storms. The actual trend has been fewer and fewer storms. The dire warnings of what would happen if we did not do as the climate cult told us to do have not materialized.
For at least 114 years, climate “scientists” have been claiming that the climate was going to kill us…but they have kept switching whether it was a coming ice age, or global warming.

When you see things like this (from MBH98 co-author Malcolm K. Hughes) on the MCA/MWP:
A case will be made for the abandonment of both of them, on the grounds that they are inappropriate, uninformative, and that they very probably divert attention from more revealing ways of thinking about the Earth’s climate over the past two millennia.
And look at the attendee list and lack of press coverage, you realize it’s the same gang of people running the same game all over again.
Webmaster's Commentary:
In George Orwell's warning about dictatorships, "1984", the main character, Winston Smith works in the Records Department of the Ministry of Truth. His job is to alter historical records so that they match the current political agenda of the dictator.
And now we see it actually happening!
The Medieval Warm Period is a major embarrassment for the global warming cultists. The climate was much warmer than today, and there were no dire consequences. The ice caps did not melt, the shorelines did not flood, the polar bears and walruses survived just fine. Indeed it was a golden time of plenty for all. There was so much food people had time left over to build great cathedrals, and the Vikings started colonizing North America! It was a golden age that supported the flowering of art and science and the Renaissance.
All this is a threat to the warmist agenda, which seeks to use the "threat" of global warming to force a global government and a carbon tax on us all!
History does not support the global government carbon agenda. So, history must be changed! The warmistas, real life Winston Smiths, are trying to lay the groundwork to erase the Medieval warm period from history, because it does not support their push for global government and a carbon tax.
You should oppose this with all your strength and rage, not only to free yourself from a carbon tax, but because a government brought into existence using the methods described in "1984" will be exactly like the government described in "1984."
After all, "Room 101" already exists at Abu Ghraib, Bagram, and Guantanamo!
The entire evidence for the title of the linked news story above:
Smoking produces two green house gasses that are altering our atmosphere and are directly related to climate change; it is just one more challenge for the world to over come.
Tune in next week when birthday cake candles are blamed for global warming because they produce carbon dioxide and soot.

If you're still finding this hard to grasp, or hesitating to take preventive action, I suggest you actually read the stories above. If you're waiting for confirmation from the MindControlMedia, whether from Fox or MSNBC, then don't hold your breath. The MCM is controlled by the very same Banksters that control all the world's economies and are at the root of every serious man-made injustice and problem. The world system the Banksters control is Mammon, and one two-horned entity is at their spiritual controls.
Government Plots to Steal IRA's and 401-K's -- to be replaced with a government-guaranteed "annuity" (Like Social Security that now will go 2 years without a Cost of Living Adjustment. That's how much the politicians care about retirees.)
The executive summary of the above is that the USEconomy is collapsing, and the USDollar will be drastically devalued in any number of ways. All dollar-denominated investments and savings will suffer loss of purchasing power. Moreover, the breakdown will couple with bad weather, food shortages, and a breakdown of the distribution system. This can all happen more quickly than anyone can imagine. Civil unrest, martial law, and increasing wars can easily characterize this period.
Can anyone explain the very strange behavior that we are seeing in world financial markets right now? Corporate insiders are bailing out of the U.S. stock market at a very alarming rate. Investors are moving mountains of money into gold and other commodities. In fact, there is such a rush towards gold that shortages are starting to be reported in some areas. Meanwhile, some very, very unusual option activity has started to show up. In particular, someone is making some incredibly large bets that the S&P 500 is going to absolutely tank during the month of October.
But it is becoming hard to deny that there are some serious danger signs out there at this point....
#1 Corporate insiders are getting out of the U.S. stock market at an absolutely blinding pace. It is being reported that the ratio of corporate insider selling to corporate insider buying last week was 1,411 to 1, and this week the ratio has soared even higher and is at 2,341 to 1.
#3 It is being reported that J.P. Morgan is gobbling up the rights to as much physical gold as it possibly can.
#4 The United States Mint has announced that it has run out of 1-ounce, 24-karat American Buffalo gold bullion coins and that it will not be selling any more of them in 2010.
#6 Some very large investors are making massive bets that the S&P 500 is going to take a serious tumble during the month of October.
#7 On Tuesday, the Bank of Japan shocked world financial markets by cutting interest rates even closer to zero and by setting up a 5 trillion yen quantitative easing fund.
#8 The president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago are both publicly urging the Fed to do much more to stimulate the U.S. economy, including beginning a new round of quantitative easing, even if it means a significant rise in the U.S. inflation rate.
#9 Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz told reporters on Tuesday that the loose monetary policies of the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank are throwing the world into "chaos".
#10 At the end of September, federal regulators announced a $30 billion bailout of the U.S. wholesale credit union system.
#11 Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and GMAC Mortgage have all suspended foreclosures in many U.S. states due to serious concerns about foreclosure procedures. Now, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott is actually demanding that all mortgage servicing companies in the state of Texas immediately suspend all foreclosures, the selling of foreclosed properties and the eviction of people living in foreclosed properties until they have completed a review of their foreclosure procedures.
#12 Not only that, but Nancy Pelosi and 30 other members of Congress are requesting a federal investigation of the foreclosure practices of U.S. mortgage lenders. Needless to say, this controversy has the potential to turn the entire U.S. mortgage industry into an absolute quagmire.
The truth is that these "good times" are only temporary. Don't get used to them. The following are 30 reasons why people should be getting really, really nervous about the state of the U.S. economy....
#1 Corporate insiders are selling off stock at a blinding pace and are looking for the exits. Alan Newman, the editor of the Crosscurrents newsletter, examined a number of the top performing stocks in the market including Google, Apple and Target and found that the ratio of corporate insider stock sold to corporate insider stock purchased over the last six months for those companies was 3,177 to 1. At the group of firms that Newman looked at, corporate insiders had purchased 38,000 shares of stock over the last six months and yet had sold off over 120 million shares.
As is often the case, there is a big difference between what the government statistics are reporting and what’s going on in the real world. According to the most recent inflation reading published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), consumer prices grew at an annual rate of just 1.1% in August.
The government has an incentive to distort CPI numbers, for reasons such as keeping the cost-of-living adjustment for Social Security payments low. While there’s no question that you may be able to get a good deal on a new car or a flat-screen TV today, how often are you really buying these things? When you look at the real costs of everyday life, prices have risen sharply over the last year. For simplicity’s sake, consider the cash market prices on some basic commodities.
On average, our basic food costs have increased by an incredible 48% over the last year (measured by wheat, corn, oats, and canola prices). From the price at the pump to heating your stove, energy costs are up 23% on average (heating oil, gasoline, natural gas). A little protein at dinner is now 39% higher (beef and pork), and your morning cup of coffee with a little sugar has risen by 36% since last October.
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, at his speech this morning before the Boston Federal Reserve, made it extremely clear that the Fed is about to embark on a major money printing scheme. His justification is the current high unemployment:
Webmaster's Commentary:
This is the signal for hyperinflation, which means the money you already have worked for and saved is about to lose value yet again, while new printed money is used to buy government debt (meaning you and your grandkids get stuck with the bill). The Government then goes on another round of "Stimulus", most of which winds up as Wall Street Bonuses, the target of fraud, or for Israel and the wars the US fights for her. None of this is good for you. How much longer must you watch your family starve before you decide you have had enough of the money addicts and their Federal Pyramid Scheme!
Great clip. Ratigan starts out hot, though Barofsky won't take the bait. Fed transparency, Mark Pittman, the Citigroup asset guarantee, lies from Obama -- it's all in here.
The Federal Reserve — the quasi-autonomous body that controls the USs money supply — is a Ponzi scheme that created bubble after bubble in the US economy and needs to be held accountable for its actions, says Eliot Spitzer, the former governor and attorney-general of New York.
In a wide-ranging discussion of the bank bailouts on MSNBCs Morning Meeting, host Dylan Ratigan described the process by which the Federal Reserve exchanged $13.9 trillion of bad bank debt for cash that it gave to the struggling banks.
The International Monetary Fund was meeting central bank officials in China on Monday to discuss ways to strengthen the global economic recovery, amid mounting fears of a damaging all-out currency war.
Webmaster's Commentary:
Currency war is where countries compete against each other to achieve a relatively low exchange rate for their home currency, so as to help their domestic corporations. Sadly, what that means for the people is imposed impoverishment, especially in countries dependent on imports.
In recent months, worshippers at the altar of Keynes have been hyperventilating over the possibility Congress will run a deficit of “only” $1.5 trillion in 2010. They have issued dire proclamations about a replay of the 1937-1938 Depression within the Great Depression. White House favorite and #1 Keynesian on the planet, Paul Krugman, declared that not borrowing an additional $100 billion to hand out to the unemployed for another 99 weeks would surely plunge the country into recession again:
According to a German study, interest composes 30 percent to 50 percent of everything we buy. So, we should be as concerned about interest as we are about taxes, if not more.
It should be obvious, but the government goons and their friends on Wall Street can't bear to let the cat out of the bag. The US real estate market which drove the world economy is not only a weak it's on the verge of a truly massive collapse.
Why?
The numbers don't lie
Thanks to ever-increasing foreclosures - and the numbers are about to get even worse - there is a glut of supply on the market. Meanwhile, it's been many decades since the American consumer has been in such bad shape.
How bad are things out there?
The most recent issue of Barron's magazine (October 11, 2010) puts the real, uncooked US unemployment figure's at a sobering 22.5%. That is NOT a typo. You can read this stat in Randall W. Forsyth's article “Debasement Blues.”
The 21.4% federal spending increase in two years ought to put to rest any debate about the nature of America's fiscal problem. The Pelosi Congress has used the recession as an excuse to send spending to record heights, and its economic policies have contributed to a lousy recovery. The solution is to stop the spending and change the policies. Polls open on November 2.
Guess what was the biggest percentage-gain revenue winner for the taxpayer in 2010. Answer is inside. Background reading:
The federal debt is now growing by $5 billion each and every day.
Don't let the headline fool you. Both parties are to blame. Republicans have proven equally adept at stealing your children's future.

Cotton prices touched their highest level since Reconstruction on Friday, as a string of bad harvests and demand from China spark worries of a global shortfall.
Wall Street bankers will this year pocket record pay and bonuses of $144billion - just two years after the global financial crisis.
After sparking a storm of protest 12 months ago by handing out record-breaking compensation of $138billion, US financial institutions have raised the pay bar again.
Cenk Uygur (host of The Young Turks) filling in for Chris Jansing on MSNBC Live talks to William Cohan about how a flawed incentive structure allows Wall Street bankers to screw the economy. Record $144 Billion Wall St. Bonuses paid out, this year.
Nearly a dozen major banks and hedge funds, anticipating quick profits from homeowners who fall behind on property taxes, are quietly plowing hundreds of millions of dollars into businesses that collect the debts, tack on escalating fees and threaten to foreclose on the homes of those who fail to pay.
The Wall Street investors, which include Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase & Co., have purchased from local governments the right to collect delinquent taxes on several hundred thousand properties, many in distressed housing markets, the Huffington Post Investigative Fund has found.
Webmaster's Commentary:
Excuse me, would those be the homes of the people whose taxes BAILED OUT THOSE VERY SAME BANKS, the same banks whose reckless gambling with derivatives wrecked the economy, making it impossible for Americans to pay ever-higher taxes they never agreed to in the first place? Those banks??!?
"The last official act of any government is to loot the nation." -- Michael Rivero
Federal and state banking regulators closed three banks on Friday, Oct. 15.
These closures raise the total number of failed institutions to 149 so far in 2010.
Webmaster's Commentary:
Don't even begin to talk to me about US economy "improving" and that we are "moving in the right direction financially" when 149 banks have been closed in just this year alone!!
Countrywide Financial Corp. co-founder Angelo Mozilo has agreed to a $67.5 million settlement to avoid trial on civil fraud and insider trading charges that alleged he profited from doling out risky mortgages while misleading investors about the risks. Bank of America stuck paying most of the $73 million in fines and penalties
The bankers, Wall Street and the City of London have lost and they know it. Talk radio and the Internet have exposed what they are up to worldwide and there is no way for them to stop it short of a revolution or WWIII. The time has passed for them to successfully pull off such a diversion and get away with or survive. They have craftily interconnected just about everything. Gold has again become the ultimate currency and anything to disrupt gold’s position would now bring down the entire financial system worldwide. The bottom line is if you do not own gold and silver coins, bullion and shares you are a fool. Both metals are headed considerably higher and there is no changing that.
Middle-class professionals and savers are facing a tax raid on their pensions under measures to be unveiled by the Coalition.
Webmaster's Commentary:
Do you get it yet? The government sold its soul to the bankers and the looting of your lives for the benefit of the bankers will go on until YOU make it stop!
If you think residential real estate is having problems, you should shift your gaze to the mammoth issues confronting commercial real estate. Little is mentioned about commercial real estate (CRE) in the mainstream media yet this is a $3 trillion market (or twice the annual GDP of Texas). Much of the problems in CRE are profound and pose systemic risks to the banking sector. While the current attention is on fraudulent paperwork on residential housing, the biggest and most hushed bailout of commercial real estate is occurring. The Fed directly buying up questionable mortgages from banks is an indirect form of bailing out CRE. Yet in some instances, the Fed has gone ahead and directly taken on the role as owner for places such as a mall in Oklahoma. While U.S. residential property prices have fallen approximately 30 percent CRE has fallen by 42 percent.
I’m glad we’re helping out those poor Hilton Hotels. I’m sure the 43 million Americans in poverty are glad that their bailout funds are being used to support the neediest in our country. No wonder why this bailout is happening behind the scenes. The public would be up in revolution if they only knew what the Fed has actually bailed out with their tax dollars. Some will say that none of this matters since we will earn our money back at some point in the distant future. But since the Federal Reserve was put into business in 1913 purchasing power has eroded with inflation:
“Can you spot where the Fed was created?”
Either way, this entire real estate crisis is far from over and banks know it. Their data tells you everything you need to know and their raiding of the American people is simply incredible.
In the fourth such protest in a little over a month, unions estimated that 3.5 million people had taken to the streets against President Nicolas Sarkozy's pension bill – a 20 per cent rise from previous marches and what they called an "exceptional" figure.
Webmaster's Commentary:
The French people understand that government never takes seriously a message sent through a ballot box!
President Nicolas Sarkozy could face the greatest challenge of his presidency in the next few days as a month-old protest against pension reform swells towards outright confrontation.
More than 3 million demonstrators – one in 20 of all French people – marched yesterday against the President’s plans to raise the standard retirement age from 60 to 62. Tens of thousands of students joined the marches for the first time, threatening to radicalise the protests and broaden them into a rebellion against a deeply unpopular presidency.
Over three million workers participated in a strike yesterday against the pension cuts of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, with workers in several industrial sectors voting to extend strike action.
France's massive strikes are costing the national economy up to euro400 million ($557 million) each day, the French finance minister said Monday as workers continued to block oil refineries and trash incinerators to protest a plan to raise the retirement age to 62...
Armed with pump-action shotguns, sidearms and stun grenades the officers look like they belong in a war zone.
In fact they are elite French policemen who were deployed to the historic centre of Lyon yesterday to deal with rioting students.
President Nicolas Sarkozy took the extreme measure in the face of growing protests against an unpopular law aimed at increasing the retirement age from 60 to 62.
Nicknamed ‘Sarko’s Stormtroopers’, the GIPN (National Police Intervention Group) faced down 2,000 youngsters in Place Bellecour where cars had been set on fire and shop windows smashed.
The French parliament has narrowly given its approval to the pension reforms which have caused a wave of strikes, demonstrations and protests across France, leading to traffic chaos and petrol shortages.
The senate voted 177 to 153 to approve measures including a rise in the official retirement age from 60 to 62. The lower house, the national assembly, had earlier given its assent.
The vote came after the right-of-centre government of President Nicolas Sarkozy used emergency clauses in the constitution to push through the reforms. The reforms had stalled in the senate after opposition members tabled hundreds of amendments leading to three weeks of debate.
Following tonight's vote, one final vote will be taken by both houses next week, after which the reform becomes law. "This is a serious moment, because it is clear, responsible and courageous," labour minister Eric Woerth said as he ended the debate in the senate. He added: "It is not by looking to the past that we will preserve our social model."
Jean-Pierre Bel, the opposition spokesman in the senate, warned the government: "You haven't finished with pensions. You have ignored what the French people have expressed, you have listened to none of our proposals. Your reform is unfair."
Sarkozy's government used a special constitutional clause to speed up the vote in the upper house after senators spent more than three weeks debating various clauses and amendments, many of them advanced by members of the Socialist party opposition and aimed at derailing the reforms.
So even the fact that 4 million French people demonstrate against this reduction of the social safety net that they have paid all their lives for, they donated it to the horse traders of the banking world, The French elite have take a dump down the throats of the people tehy are suppose to serve. Mr Dr. Guillotin Should have the Nobel peace prize!

A rail strike across Belgium has caused widespread disruption to services to France, Netherlands and Germany.
The 24-hour strike has also cut Eurostar services between London and Brussels on Monday. Eurostar says passengers can use its buses to get from Brussels to Lille in northern France, and board the train to London from there.

Globalists Collapsing Society To Bring In Martial Law
U.S. troops now being trained to boss communities and run local governments are being readied to oversee a post-collapse America in which riots and civil unrest similar to that now exploding in Europe over austerity measures and pension cuts ravage the United States and are met with the iron fist of a militarized police state.
Americans are acquiring guns, silver and food stamps at record levels in reaction to the crumbling economy, trends indicative of a fearful public who are struggling financially and preparing for potential mass civil unrest in the aftermath of a total economic collapse.
Here is the key point I wish to emphasize: we will not "get" inflation or deflation by chance or mechanistic functions, but by a series of policy choices which will be made to benefit the Financial Power Elites and their functionaries in the Central State.
Bottom line: expect a crash in commodity prices and other asset bubbles, a much stronger dollar and rapidly rising interest rates. I am playing it as it lays, and this is precisely what I expect to unfold between 2010 and 2014.
