http://www.urgencenationale.org/

les nombreuses allégations de malversation, de collusion et de corruption à l’endroit du Parti libéral du Québec (PLQ) depuis plus d'un an minent l’image du Québec et la crédibilité de ses institutions;
ces allégations ont mené à une crise politique sans précédent qui a rompu le lien de confiance entre le Gouvernement et la population;

Bombshell: Silverstein Wanted To Demolish Building 7 On 9/11

A Fox News hit piece against Jesse Ventura and the 9/11 truth movement written by former Washington D.C. prosecutor Jeffrey Scott Shapiro inadvertently reveals a shocking truth, that World Trade Center leaseholder Larry Silverstein, who collected nearly $500 million dollars in insurance as a result of the collapse of Building 7, a 47-story structure that was not hit by a plane but collapsed within seven seconds on September 11, was on the phone to his insurance carrier attempting to convince them that the building should be brought down via controlled demolition.

Writing for Fox News, Jeffrey Scott Shapiro states, “I was working as a journalist for Gannett News at Ground Zero that day, and I remember very clearly what I saw and heard.”

“Shortly before the building collapsed, several NYPD officers and Con-Edison workers told me that Larry Silverstein, the property developer of One World Financial Center was on the phone with his insurance carrier to see if they would authorize the controlled demolition of the building – since its foundation was already unstable and expected to fall.”

Larry Silverstein, WTC 7, and the 9/11 Demolition

Consider the facts:

The fires in WTC 7 were not evenly distributed, so a perfect collapse was impossible.

Explosions occurred in WTC 7 before it sustained any damage from the twin towers' collapses.

Silverstein said to the fire department commander "the smartest thing to do is pull it."

Firefighters withdrawing from the area stated the building was going to "blow up".

The building subsequently collapsed perfectly into its footprint.

Molten steel and partially evaporated steel members were found in the debris.

Algerian pilot falsely charged for role in 9/11 exonerated after ‘nine years of hell’

The pilot falsely accused of training the hijackers responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks has won his almost decade-long miscarriage of justice battle.

Lotfi Raissi, an Algerian living in Britain who lost his career as an airline pilot, suffered wrongful imprisonment and damage to his health, will now be eligible for up to £2m compensation.

Raissi became the first person to be accused of participating in the 2001 attack in New York and Washington. He was held for five months in Belmarsh high security prison in London and told he would be charged with conspiracy and murder in the US where he could face the death penalty.

The shocking thing you spend the most on

By The Canadian Press

VANCOUVER, B.C. - A prominent think-tank that's often critical of government spending policies says Canadian families spend more than two-fifths of their total income on taxes.

The Fraser Institute says its annual Canadian Consumer Tax Index calculated that taxes ate up 41.7 per cent of the average family's income in 2009.

That's up from 1981 when taxes accounted for 40.8 per cent of a family's income, or 33.5 per cent in 1961 when the Fraser Institute first compiled the index.

Town that scrapped 'motorist tax' speed cameras sees no increase in accidents

The first town in Britain to scrap fixed speed cameras has seen no increase in accidents, it was revealed yesterday.

But the number of motorists prosecuted for speeding there dropped by more than 40 per cent.

Swindon switched off its cameras over claims they were a ' blatant tax on the motorist' which did nothing to improve safety.

Yesterday, supporters of the move hailed the figures as proof they were right.

Obama, not Osama, is threat No.1 to global security

Barack Obama is masking the real issues over nuclear weapons by presenting the idea that nuclear terrorism is a major threat, says Michel Chossudovsky, Director of the Canadian Center for Research on Globalization.

VIDEO: "Nuclear Terrorism": Al Qaeda is an Upcoming Nuclear Power according to president Obama

- by Michel Chossudovsky - 2010-04-15

The US is the most dangerous threat to global security

New Nuke Treaty and the Coming World War

The United States of America is preparing for war. This new Treaty proves it. We are preparing for war by capitulating our last strategic advantage to the Russians and Chinese. That would be nuclear missiles. Even worse, we are allowing our future enemies access to onsite inspections. We might as well email them the schematics and locations of our missiles.

DC nuclear summit was “a smokescreen”

Obama is masking the real issues over nuclear weapons by presenting the idea that nuclear terrorism is a major threat, shared Michel Chossudovsky, Director of the Canadian Centre for Research on Globalization.

“At this stage the US administration is not interested in negotiating, it is interested in creating an environment which will justify a possible nuclear attack on Iran,” concluded Chossudovsky.

Webmaster's Commentary:

the likelihood of being able to "sell" this to the American people without another huge "false flag" event is very remote.

STAGE BEING SET FOR “DIRTY BOMB” FALSE FLAG

Rumors of an upcoming terror attack to be blamed on Iran are moving around the world, “backchannel chatter.” The primary suspect is Israel who is said to have a number of small “suitcase” type nuclear weapons, some primarily “dirty bombs,” possibly supplied secretly by a previous US administration. These devices are in the “40 ton” range, highly radioactive, extremely small and can be engineered to leave the signature of a primitive device. They were originally designed for use against Soviet armor and troop concentrations in Europe if a massed attack on NATO were to occur. Current conventional systems have made this type of weapon obsolete.

Are school lunches a national security threat?

By MARY CLARE JALONICK, Associated Press Writer Mary Clare Jalonick, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON – A group of retired military officers says high-calorie school lunches are threatening national security.

A study by the group Mission: Readiness finds that school lunches are making American kids so fat that fewer of them can meet the military's physical fitness standards. That, in turn, is putting recruitment in jeopardy.

A report from the group, being released Tuesday, says that 27 percent of Americans ages 17 to 24 are too overweight to join the military.

One of the officers, retired Navy Rear Admiral James Barnett Jr., says many young Americans are simply too fat to fight.

The officers are pushing for passage of a wide-ranging nutrition bill that aims to make the nation's school lunches healthier.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Attention parents; they are coming for your kids!

Grandmother's six-month court ordeal for leaving cardboard box next to recycling bin

Lynne Doyle has just been through six months of hell.

The 59-year-old grandmother was interrogated in front of customers at the shop she runs, threatened with a heavy fine and dragged to court to answer for her actions.

Her crime? To wedge a cardboard box between two recycling bins because it was too big to fit in the slot.

Council officers pored over CCTV footage to identify her before accusing her of dumping 'controlled waste'.

It was only when the case finally came to court, and her lawyer advised her to opt for a jury trial, that the local authority suddenly dropped the case.

'They acted as if I dumped a body at the recycling centre, not a cardboard box,' said Mrs Doyle, who runs a fancy-dress shop in Wickford, Essex.

'Why on earth have they got cameras at recycling points? They are quite happy to take photos of law-abiding citizens and use it against them in court but not where fly-tipping is a real problem.

'They are only interested in chasing people when they think they can get money out of them.'

Georgia confirms highly enriched uranium seizure

By DESMOND BUTLER, Associated Press Writer Desmond Butler, Associated Press Writer – Thu Apr 22

Saakashvili gave few details of the seizure during an interview Wednesday with The Associated Press, saying only that the uranium was intercepted last month coming into his country in the Caucasus region of southeast Europe.

The Georgian Interior Ministry said a group of foreign nationals had been detained, and the uranium was in a secure location.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The interesting points are that the seizure happened last month and is only now being made public, just in time to deflect the post nuclear summit attention away from Israel. Then there is the fact that the exact amounts and degree of enrichment are not reported. Note that the nationalities of the "foreign nationals" are not disclosed, and when you couple that with the photograph of Iranian technicians used to illustrate the story and intended to create a link to Iran that is not supported by the story itself, and this reeks of being a staged event to hype "nuclear threat" ahead of a possible false flag attack to kick off WW3.

US Rules Out Removing Its Nukes From Europe

Despite increased calls from European officials to remove them, the United States today ruled out moving its hundreds of “battlefield nukes” from Europe, insisting that they must remain to ensure that Europe shares the “nuclear risks and responsibilities.”

Hypersonic Cruise Missile: America's New Global Strike Weapon

In the Pacific, a nuclear-powered Ohio class submarine surfaces, ready for the president's command to launch.

When the order comes, the sub shoots a 65-ton Trident II ballistic missile into the sky. Within 2 minutes, the missile is traveling at more than 20,000 ft. per second. Up and over the oceans and out of the atmosphere it soars for thousands of miles. At the top of its parabola, hanging in space, the Trident's four warheads separate and begin their screaming descent down toward the planet. Traveling as fast as 13,000 mph, the warheads are filled with scored tungsten rods with twice the strength of steel. Just above the target, the warheads detonate, showering the area with thousands of rods-each one up to 12 times as destructive as a .50-caliber bullet. Anything within 3000 sq. ft. of this whirling, metallic storm is obliterated.

If Pentagon strategists get their way, there will be no place on the planet to hide from such an assault. The plan is part of a program -- in slow development since the 1990s, and now quickly coalescing in military circles -- called Prompt Global Strike. It will begin with modified Tridents. But eventually, Prompt Global Strike could encompass new generations of aircraft and armaments five times faster than anything in the current American arsenal. One candidate: the X-51 hypersonic cruise missile, which is designed to hit Mach 5 -- roughly 3600 mph. The goal, according to the U.S. Strategic Command's deputy commander Lt. Gen. C. Robert Kehler, is "to strike virtually anywhere on the face of the Earth within 60 minutes."

The question is whether such an attack can be deployed without triggering World War III: Those tungsten-armed Tridents look, and fly, exactly like the deadliest weapons in the American nuclear arsenal.

Russia: Not involved in Georgia uranium seizure

Russia on Thursday angrily rejected accusations by Georgia's president linking Moscow to a case of attempted uranium smuggling and suggested he was lying, in a new flare-up of tensions between the hostile neighbors.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Note that AP is still illustrating all these stories with a photo of Iranian technicians even though there is nothing in the story to link it to Iran.

Remember what I told you months ago; that before the attack on Iran the US and Israel had to sever the two major land routes by which Russia could support Iran, one through Afghanistan and the other through those tunnels in the Caucasus mountains. Afghanistan is and remains a war zone, and this so-called uranium seizure has provided grounds for President Mikhail Saakashvili to call for an American "Security Presence", meaning US military forces at those tunnels.

1 in 3 Americans Failed to Return Census Forms

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/17/us/politics/17census.html?src=twt&twt=nytimespolitics

Nearly one in three Americans failed to return their census questionnaires by Friday’s official deadline.

Webmaster's Commentary:

1/3 of Americans just told the Federal Government to go @#%$ itself.

Iran rightfully calls for America to be suspended from IAEA

The leader of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has rightfully called on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to suspend America for constantly threatening to use nuclear weapons against his country and other states; and his bold stance could be a significant opportunity for the non-European world to stand up to western terrorism.

State No. 6 tells feds to stuff their gun regs

A sixth state – Arizona – now has declared that guns made and kept inside its borders essentially are free from federal application, registration and ownership regulations in a surging movement among states that one supporter describes as a direct challenge to "a government monopoly on the supply of firearms."

Webmaster's Commentary:

The states' revolt against Federal Authority has begun!

One third of Americans say own govt a threat: Poll

Pew Research Center survey found (AFP)

Nearly one out of three Americans view the US government as a "major threat" to their freedoms, and four out of five say they don't trust Washington to solve their problems, according to a new poll out Monday.

Poll: 4 out of 5 Americans don't trust Washington

Public confidence in government is at one of the lowest points in a half century, according to a survey from the Pew Research Center. Nearly 8 in 10 Americans say they don't trust the federal government and have little faith it can solve America's ills, the survey found.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That fifth one gets a Federal Government paycheck.

Obama Now Pushing Sneaky Wall Street Bailout

Fresh off his successful (for now) effort to ram through an unpopular healthcare “reform” law, President Barack Obama is now fighting for legislation on Capitol Hill that would set up a permanent fund to bail out companies in the financial sector.

Washington Post Writer: Internet Journalism Is “Sort Of Like Terrorism”

A Washington Post columnist who appeared on CBS’ Face the Nation on Sunday described tea partiers as potentially violent and decried internet journalism as “sort of like terrorism”

AIPAC SPREADING THEIR POISON TO UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES

Why bother with moral persuasion when you can just threaten to take over government . . everywhere?

On March 18, UC Berkeley’s student senate voted 16 to 4 in favor of divesting from companies that profit from the Israeli occupation. A week later, in a move oddly predicted by AIPAC’s Jonathan Kessler at AIPAC’s policy conference, the vote was vetoed by the student senate president. (Students hope the senate will overturn the veto next Wednesday.)

When asked about fighting the Berkeley pro-divest initiative, Kessler said, “We’re going to make sure that pro-Israel students take over the student government and reverse the vote. . . . This is how AIPAC operates in our nation’s capital. This is how AIPAC must operate on our nation’s campuses.” Kessler is at 3:58 in video below. Student elections are happening now at UC Berkeley and you can bet everyone’s looking for the AIPAC-Manchurian candidate, if such a thing exists.

US US to launch secret 'space warplane'

Military space specialist Professor Roger Handberg, who is the chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, told Space.com that the X-37B project may signify continued U.S. Air Force interest in a rapid response vehicle along the lines of the long-proposed space maneuver vehicle.

"From the perspective of international observers, especially in space-aspiring states such as China, the X-37B program just reinforces their view that the U.S. is pushing to gain first mover advantage in rapid response, including possible weaponization of space using this vehicle or a derivative," Handberg noted.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I think we can safely move from the characterization of this program from as a "possible" weaponization of space to a "definite" weaponization of space.

Dick Morris: Bill Clinton Personally Orchestrated the 1993 Waco, Texas Tragedy

In response to Bill Clinton’s highly publicized linking of the Tea Party movement to the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing in an op-ed piece for the New York Times, former Clinton adviser Dick Morris disclosed on Monday that it was Clinton himself, and not Attorney General Janet Reno, as Americans have been led to believe for the past 17 years, who called the shots during the 1993 botched invasion that led to the death of seventy-six people.

Morris went on to say, “Clinton in fact was so ashamed about what he did in Waco that he was not going to appoint Janet Reno to a second four-year term. She told him in a meeting right before the inauguration day … ‘If you don’t appoint me I’m going to tell the truth about Waco.’ And that forced Clinton’s hand … It’s never been said (publicly) before.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

With so much blood on both their collective hands, one has to wonder at the continued fawning of the "party faithful" over both Clinton and Bush; it's enough to make thinking people vomit.

Civil War Looms as Kyrgyzstan Riots Grow

Normalcy is no easy thing in Kyrgyzstan, and despite Bakiyev being long gone the protesters have remained on the streets of the capital of Bishkek, seizing property from the city’s ethnic minorities and generally spreading mayhem.

Perhaps an even bigger issue long term is that the rural southern portion of the nation, long loyal to Bakiyev, still hasn’t accepted the new government’s control. In Jalal Abat, the local governor Faizullah Rakhmanov held a rally of some 1,000 Bakiyev supporters, promising they would soon march north against the capital and restore Bakiyev to power.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder just to what degree the new Kyrgystani government is going to plead to Russia to assist it in restoring order here.

Exiled Kyrgyz leader insists still president

Kyrgyzstan's ousted president Kurmanbek Bakiyev insisted on Wednesday that he was still the rightful leader of his country, breaking several days of silence after his flight into exile.

Japan islanders reject US base

Three mayors from a Japanese island, slated to host a US military base, are to write a letter to President Barack Obama expressing their refusal to the plan. The move is to protest against the Japanese government’s decision to relocate the Futenma US Marine Corps Air Station in Okinawa to the Tokunoshima Island.

90,000 Protest U.S. Base on Okinawa

More than 90,000 Okinawans rallied Sunday to oppose the relocation of an American air base on their island, adding to the pressure on Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama to resolve an issue that has divided Tokyo and Washington.

On Sunday, local leaders told the demonstrators that they rejected any plan that kept the air base on Okinawa. Toshio Shimabukuro, the mayor of Uruma, said he opposed the construction of the island, which he said would turn his city in “a major military site,” according to Japan’s Kyodo News.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

But it is obvious that the Okinawans want the American forces off their island.

Mossad And The Russian Mafia Plutonium Connection

Scientists at the European Trans-Uranium Institute at Karlsruhe in Germany, tracking the movements of all fissionable material from the former Soviet Unionís nuclear arsenal, have raised suspicions that Mossad has purchased some of the material to allegedly stop it falling into the hands of Islamic and other terror groups.

But there is also the real possibility that Israel has gone into the nuclear black market to buy fissionable material to bolster its own huge nuclear arsenal.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Or to plant an "Islamic" (nudge nudge wink wink) nuclear weapon in some US city.

18 veterans kill themselves every day: report

Thirty try to commit suicide each day, on average, reports the Army Times. Eighteen succeed, roughly five of whom receive medical care from Veterans Affairs, rated one of the best health programs in the country.

"Of the more than 30,000 suicides in this country each year, fully 20 percent of them are acts by veterans,'' said VA Secretary Eric Shinseki at a VA-sponsored suicide prevention conference in January, Inter Press Service reported.

U.S. won't share Ft Hood evidence with Senate: Gates

The Obama administration, facing a subpoena threat from Congress, will not share information that could compromise its prosecution of the suspected gunman in last year's Fort Hood shooting, U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said on Friday.

Two U.S. senators vowed on Thursday to subpoena the Obama administration next week unless it produces information sought in a congressional investigation of last year's rampage at the Texas military base in which 13 soldiers were killed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If the Administration is refusing to release their information on this case with the Senate, there is something seriously, potentially catastrophically, wrong with the case.

Lawrence Solomon: Australia won’t cap and trade

Seeing countries around the world back away from their climate change commitments, and seeing his own electoral support crumble, Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd announced today that Australia will be shelving its cap and trade program for at least three years, until after the next election. “That will provide the Australian government at the time with a better position to assess the level of global action on climate change," he told the Australian press.

Hyer Seeking Cross-Party Support for C-311

Published on April 22, 2010 by James Murray

THUNDER BAY – On the 40th anniversary of the world’s first Earth Day, New Democrat Deputy Environment Critic Bruce Hyer (Thunder Bay–Superior North) is busy building cross-party support for his private member’s bill, C-311 the Climate Change Accountability Act. The bill remains the country’s only climate change legislation before Parliament.

“Today, Thunder Bay joins cities across the world to celebrate Earth Day, a day that was started to inspire awareness for the Earth’s environment.” said Hyer, who was an organizer of the first Earth Day in 1970 in the U.S. Since then, the event has spread to more than 170 counties. “Sadly, Canadians haven’t had much to celebrate when it comes to the environment in recent years. From a government that’s been sabotaging our reputation and spoils negotiations on the world stage, to decades of foot-dragging on climate change plans, it’s been pretty grim.”

“But soon, Canadians may have a ray of hope.” Hyer added. “In only 9 days, Canada’s only federal climate change bill will face a final vote in Parliament. If it becomes law, it will finally legislate firm greenhouse gas pollution targets and make the government accountable to Canadians on climate change – ending years of delay.”

336 official Earth Day events are scheduled in communities across Canada with over 6 million Canadians expected to participate in some activity, including nearly every school child in the country, according to Earth Day Canada, a national environmental charity founded in 1990. Wide-ranging activities include everything from waterway spring clean-ups, to eco-fairs, to tree plantings, to public educational events on climate change, amongst others.

“This Earth Day, Canada’s Parliament has no more important duty than to ensure the Climate Change Accountability Act passes. There is no single bill before Parliament that is more important to the future health and prosperity of the country.” Hyer affirmed.

A last House of Commons debate on C-311 is expected at 5:30pm on Wednesday, April 28th. The final House vote on the bill is expected at 5:30pm on Wednesday, May 5th.

CLIMATEGATE - Climate change bill collapses in Senate

http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=124401

A long-awaited climate change bill that would put a price on excessive carbon emissions and generate billions of dollars has been postponed indefinitely.

US Senator John F. Kerry's 20 years of climate change plans hit the bottom Saturday after Senator Lindsey Graham, who had allied himself with Kerry on the issue, abandoned the effort in an unprecedented move.

The South Carolina Republican suddenly decided to switch priorities, claiming that that the Senate's Democratic leadership might proceed with a controversial immigration bill first.

Another polar rescue must send chills down spines of alarmists

TOM Smitheringale wanted to prove the world was warming. Now he's another alarmist with frostbite.

The 40-year-old from Perth planned to be the first Australian to trek unassisted to the North Pole, but announced he'd raise some consciousness along the way.

But Antarctica isn't melting away, and Arctic ice has slowly increased since its big low in 1997.

But no one seems to have told Tom, who soon found his extremities freezing.

Two weeks ago he nearly called off his trek after suffering excruciating pain in his fingers and thumbs, forcing him to call in emergency help.

And last week he had to be rescued by Canadian soldiers after falling through the ice sheet.

"(I) came very close to the grave," he said, on being flown out.

This is actually now the fourth year running that warming alarmists have had to be rescued from expeditions to prove the Arctic is warmer than it actually is. It's a metaphor.

Last year it was British eco-explorer Pen Hadow and his two-person team who had to be flown out mid-stunt, after battling brutal sub-zero weather conditions that gave the team's photographer frostbite.

The year before, eco-adventurer Lewis Gordon Pugh was similarly thwarted.

He'd planned to kayak 1200km to the North Pole to raise awareness of how global warming had allegedly melted the ice sheet so badly that scientists warned the North Pole that summer could be ice-free.

No such luck. Pugh had to pull out, still 1000km from the finish, when a great barrier of sea ice blocked his route.

The year before gave even more farcical entertainment.

"Explorers and educators" Ann Bancroft and Liv Arnesen said they were off on what reporters described as "a historic 75-day expedition to the North Pole and beyond to raise awareness of global warming's impact on the fragile Arctic".

It turned out that what was fragile was not the Arctic but the alarmists, who had to call off their big trip not long after it started, when Arnesen suffered frostbite in three of her toes, and extreme cold drained their batteries.

Explained a spokesman: "They were experiencing temperatures that weren't expected with global warming."

Like the globe, really.

The fact is that when Arctic rescuers must save more people from global warming stunts than from global warming itself, it's time to heed again the words of Franklin D. Roosevelt.

"We have nothing to fear but fear itself." So if alarmists settled down, they might just live longer, and keep their toes.

And the rest of us might not be put to so much needless expense. Like rescues, for instance.
